Beethoven & Brahms by Candlelight is Thursday, October 8, 2026, a Jacksonville Symphony chamber concert in the Jean and Ross Krueger Chorus Room. The room is limited to 100 seats, and the symphony says these evenings sell out quickly.

  • When: Thursday, October 8, 2026. Start time to confirm.
  • Where: Jean and Ross Krueger Chorus Room, Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, 300 W Water St
  • Cost: Ticketed, pricing on the symphony's site

What to expect

Each Chamber by Candlelight evening begins with bar service and a pre-concert conversation, then moves into chamber music with Symphony musicians a few steps away, lit by candlelight. This program pairs Beethoven and Brahms.

Parking and getting there

The center's parking page points to nearby lots and garages: the Water Street Garage at 541 Water St. (corner of Water and Broad), the Omni Hotel's lot and garage at 336 W. Bay St., and a paved lot at 317 W. Water St. directly across from the center. Prices vary. You can drop passengers on the front circular drive on Water Street, and the main entrance is at 300 W. Water St.

Where to eat and drink nearby

The concert includes bar service. For dinner, Cowford Chophouse, 101 E. Bay St., has a rooftop bar and sits a longer walk or a short drive east along Bay St. from the center. Our Jacksonville restaurant guide covers more options downtown.
