What to expect

The symphony's season page names the composers but not the specific works, so check the program page for the full list. The symphony says Jacoby Symphony Hall was refreshed for this season with larger seating, enhanced lighting, and acoustic upgrades. The next weekend brings Music of the Knights, and Mahler's Ninth follows on November 6 and 7.

Parking and getting there

The center's parking page points to nearby lots and garages: the Water Street Garage at 541 Water St. (corner of Water and Broad), the Omni Hotel's lot and garage at 336 W. Bay St., and a paved lot at 317 W. Water St. directly across from the center. Prices vary. You can drop passengers on the front circular drive on Water Street, and the main entrance is at 300 W. Water St.

Where to eat and drink nearby

Cowford Chophouse, 101 E. Bay St., has a rooftop bar and sits a longer walk or a short drive east along Bay St. from the center. Our Jacksonville restaurant guide covers more options downtown.
