What to expect
A big, slow, friendly pack of riders cruising the beach at low tide. Beach cruisers and fat-tire bikes handle the sand best. Road bikes with skinny tires do not, and their owners find out quickly.

Bring water and lights for the ride back. Parking near Seawalk fills on summer Friday evenings, so the garage on 1st Street North or an early arrival saves you the loop of shame.
