What to Expect
Buddha Thai Bistro opened in 2009 and has run the same corner ever since, a family business sitting directly across 10th Avenue from Mellow Mushroom. Sixteen years earns a theme this time. Bangkok Glam runs the appetizer table, the cocktail list, and an interactive flower station set up for the afternoon, with a DJ playing through all three hours. Staff have also built in photo moments styled to match, useful if you want proof you were there.
Regulars tend to order the pad thai. The kitchen wraps it in a thin egg blanket, a plating style Jacksonville does not see much of anywhere else. Reasonable odds it shows up on the appetizer spread too.
Before You Go
The dress code is Bangkok Glam: colorful, tropical, a step dressier than a normal Sunday lunch. Leave the beachwear at home.
