Deck the Chairs lights up Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach from November 25, 2026 through January 1, 2027. About 70 lifeguard chairs get decorated by local organizations and lit nightly from 5 PM to 1 AM. Free, handicap accessible, and dog-friendly.

What to expect
Each chair is its own themed light display, and the whole walk takes 30 to 45 minutes at family pace. Christmas markets pop up on select dates, and the ocean backdrop does something the mall displays cannot.
Before you go
Evenings right after Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas are the busiest. A weeknight visit gets you the same lights with parking that actually exists. Leashed dogs welcome, which the dogs seem to know.
