What to expect
Costumed reenactors, a ceremonial landing on the waterfront, and a Mass at the mission grounds. It runs a couple of hours and sits on some of the prettiest quiet acreage in the city.

Mission parking is limited, so arrive early or park downtown and walk up San Marco Avenue. September mornings are still hot. Bring water and something with a brim.
