Sounds on Centre in Fernandina Beach: Free First Friday Concerts

Sounds on Centre brings free outdoor concerts to downtown Fernandina Beach on the first Friday of each month from April through October. The final 2026 edition lands around Friday, October 2.

What to expect

A street concert in the middle of the historic district with local and regional bands, lawn chairs, and dancing that starts with kids and spreads upward through the age brackets. Downtown restaurants and shops stay open around it.

Before you go

Bring chairs, arrive before the first set for street parking within a couple blocks, and note the season wraps in October. After that, Centre Street pivots to holiday mode.
