Why this one matters

The Flying Ace was shot at Norman Studios in Arlington, one of the few surviving silent-film studios that made movies with all-Black casts for Black audiences. Jacksonville was a silent film capital before Hollywood existed, and this premiere puts a world-class score on a piece of hometown history exactly a century later.
