Marching units, veteran groups, JROTC corps, bands, and military vehicles rolling through the urban core. Jacksonville holds one of the country's largest military populations, and this parade is the city's biggest thank-you of the year.

The 11:01 AM start honors the armistice hour. Street closures wrap the parade route through late morning, so park in a garage outside the route and walk in. Bring a flag, or borrow the energy from the crowd that did.
