Jacksonville Events: June 5–14, 2026 (Concerts, Markets & More)
Share
Eighty-something events are stacked onto the Jacksonville calendar this month, and a big chunk of them land right now. Summer hit the First Coast and the whole town decided to make noise about it. We've got a Grammy-winning jazz band, a Triple-A ballclub fresh off a national title, beachside markets, and arena football all crammed into the same ten days.
This guide covers Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 14, 2026. Here's where to be.
Live Music
The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is doing the most this weekend, and honestly, good for them. Young the Giant rolls in Friday, June 5 at 6:30 PM for the Victory Garden Tour, with Cold War Kids and Almost Monday warming up the crowd. Indie-rock under the Amp's oak canopy is about as good as a Florida Friday gets. Grab tickets here.
The next night, June 6, the Amp's intimate Backyard Stage hosts the Rolling Together Revue with G. Love, Donavon Frankenreiter, and Moon Taxi at 7:30 PM. Think laid-back grooves and a sunset. You'll want a seat early. Details and tickets.
Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is running its own loaded slate. Bluegrass star Molly Tuttle picks up a guitar Friday, June 5 at 8 PM. Sunday the 7th brings Stewart Copeland, yes, the drummer from The Police, with his "Have I Said Too Much" show at 7:30 PM. Then the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band brings New Orleans to the beach Saturday, June 13 at 7:30 PM, and country mainstay John Anderson closes the run Sunday, June 14 at 7 PM. That's a wild range of sounds in one little room. See the full Ponte Vedra lineup.
Want something bigger and louder? Mariah the Scientist and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie take over VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday, June 12 at 8 PM, with Kiana Ledé on the bill too. R&B and rap, downtown, on a Friday night. Tickets start around $41. Lock in your spot.
Sports
The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are your defending Triple-A National Champions, and they're home all week at VyStar Ballpark downtown. They face the Nashville Sounds June 5, 6, and 7, then take on the Gwinnett Stripers for a full six-game set June 9 through 14. Most first pitches go at 7:05 PM, with a Sunday matinee on the 7th. Cheap seats, fireworks nights, river breeze. It's the easiest fun in town. Check the schedule and tickets.
If you like your sports indoors and a little chaotic, the Jacksonville Sharks play arena football against the San Antonio Gunslingers on Saturday, June 6 at 7 PM, also at VyStar Arena. Fast, loud, and the ball lands in the stands more than you'd think. Game info here.
Markets and Outdoors
Saturday mornings belong to the Riverside Arts Market. Nearly 150 makers, farmers, and bakers set up under the Fuller Warren Bridge along the St. Johns River, every Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Live music, food trucks, dogs everywhere, zero cover charge. Catch it June 6 or June 13. Plan your visit.
Down in St. Augustine, the Amphitheatre Farmers Market runs Saturday mornings from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, packed with fresh produce, plants, eggs, cheese, and prepared food worth the drive. Pair it with a walk through the nation's oldest city and you've got a whole morning sorted. More on the market.
Up the Coast in Amelia Island
Fernandina Beach kicks off the weekend with Sounds on Centre, a free outdoor concert in the historic downtown district. The Amelia Blues Band plays Friday, June 5 starting at 6 PM right on Centre Street. Bring a chair, grab a drink, settle in. Event details.
And if you spot a pack of wildly wrapped supercars rolling through that same Friday, you're not dreaming. The Gumball 3000 rally makes an Amelia Island stop June 5 from 6 to 9 PM, the kind of car-spotting you usually only get on the internet. See what's on around Amelia.
So, what's the move?
Ten days, every flavor of fun. Catch a ballgame downtown, chase a sunset show in St. Augustine, raid a riverside market, or drive up to Amelia for live blues by the water. My pick? Jumbo Shrimp on a weeknight, then the Amp on Saturday. Whatever you choose, get out there before summer speeds up on us. See you around the 904!
